Integrated care through HIV platforms

HIV programmes across sub-Saharan Africa have built some of the most effective chronic care platforms in the world. This work examines how their reach, infrastructure and experience can support more integrated care for diabetes, hypertension and other chronic conditions.

It combines systematic review, meta-analysis and health systems analysis to understand when integration improves outcomes, and what it demands of financing, workforce and governance.
