The planetary health diet in practice

In 2025, Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) has signed a covenant with all entrepreneurs on Woudestein campus to embrace the Planetary Health Diet. This makes EUR the first university in the Netherlands to introduce this scientifically based nutritional vision campus-wide in close collaboration with caterers and entrepreneurs.

The Planetary Health Diet is well described in scientific terms, but far less well understood as a practice.

This project advises on how healthier, more sustainable diets can be adopted through institutional procurement, policy and public communication at the EUR campus.
